The Imbued Sword of St. Mihai is the payoff of the game’s most explicit weapon-restoration arc: you carry a broken saint’s blade through the Forge It Anew questline and come out the other end with the hardest-hitting documented sword in the wiki data.

What Are the Imbued Sword’s Stats?

Its four effects, quoted from Fextralife:

• Melee Critical Hit Chance Multiplier: +5%
• Sword Crit Damage Multiplier: +7.5%
• Damage Against Corrupted Multiplier: +8%

The flavor text reads: “It was mighty before, but now – it’s unstoppable.”

How Does the Reforge Chain Work?

The sword exists in two documented stages:

• Broken Sword of St. Mihai — Superior rarity, 51 max damage, −2% sword skill cooldown. Fextralife’s acquisition section for the broken blade is not yet filled in, but its flavor text (“Not as magnificent as it once was, but still deadly”) and the imbued version’s name mark it as the same weapon before restoration.
• Imbued Sword of St. Mihai — the legendary reforged form, “obtained upon completing Forge It Anew questline” per Fextralife, confirmed by IGN’s legendary equipment list.

Why Take This Over Other Legendaries?

At 78 max damage it out-hits Durandal (66), The Kingslayer (73), and The Purge (68), and its effect stack is the only documented one that boosts both crit chance and crit damage for sword play. The +8% against Corrupted rider matches Durandal’s, so against corrupted enemies the imbued blade strictly dominates on paper.

The trade is timing: Durandal is lootable mid-quest in Briar Sloughs, while the Imbued Sword arrives at the end of a multi-step questline in St. Tyna’s Grove.
